My Trip To Spain!

Hello everyone,

If you follow me on instagram (ameliabedeliaxx, shameless self promotion) then you would know that I recently went to Spain! And I've gone home since then, but I have been so tired and extremely jet lagged that I haven't had time to write this post. Even though I've been itching too!

So I went with my family as a family vacation. Which I was all for at first, but as we all know, family can be quite irritating sometimes.

I left my home & my lovely bed at 0 dark hundred (4 am) to haul my butt to LAX. From there, we flew to Barcelona.

Barcelona was absolutely beautiful, from what I remember. We arrived in Barcelona at about 7 am, which meant that our room at the beautiful Le Meridean Barcelona was not ready. Check in at 11:00 am. Eternal sadness. I actually fell asleep laying on the couch in the lobby at this 5 star hotel - you can't take me anywhere nice.

 I needed that caffeine.

We were with a tour group and luckily there were some young people that I got to hang out with - you'l l see them later on.

Here are some pictures from touring around Barcelona:

I missed Warped Tour 2k13 for this trip, and I think the city knew: :)

Love me some iPhone panorama pics.

 Dirty Birds.

 La Familia.

Although these pictures aren't necessarily capturing the true beauty of this place, the iPhone camera was the best I could do at the time.

Next we traveled on over to Granada, and we visited the Al Alhambra. I actually took quite a lot of pictures on my nice canon t3i, but it is across the room and I do not feel like getting up and uploading those pictures. Too exhausted! I will try and upload more pictures in a separate blogpost. Those pictures are so beautiful that they deserve their own blog post anyways.

Look how beautiful Granada is, eh??

Here are some pictures later that night:

The next day, we woke up, hungover to go on to the next town. Ronda. Ernest Hemingway and someone else really liked that place. I'm sorry, I do not remember. but it was very beautiful:

What a cute group picture of all the young'ins, huh? :)

 Too many birds. O.o

Just relooking at all of these pictures just make me want to go back.

Next, we headed to Seville. Now, I was so freaking exhausted from traveling around day to day and getting up and moving hotels that I did not participate in any tours in Seville. I sat out by the pool for 6 hours. Not even kidding.

Hey, I was perfectly content. I stayed at the Hotel Alfonso XII, which is apparently in the top 100 hotels in the WORLD! Pretty cool, right?

When we were driving to Cordoba, we stopped at a truck stop with just acres and acres of sunflowers. It was breathtaking.

I don't think I took any pictures in Cordoba. I'm sorry, I was a little tired from the night out ;)

After Cordoba, we took a bullet train to Madrid. It was pretty cool,  the train ride was only 1 hour and 45 minutes, and we sat in the first class seats so the workers were nice and served us yummy food.

Here are some pictures from Madrid:

Mostly just spent it with the friends I made. :)

I wish I could properly write a blog post, but I am still new to blogging and I am exhausted. Still jet lagged. I've been up since 5 am. I know it's a hard life. ;)

Well, I hope you enjoyed this post.

I hope that my pictures were sufficient enough for you.

Love,

Lia
